ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome to my website, my name is Meg!

I have always had a passion for movement whilst growing up. Through my schooling years I played many sports and even represented New Zealand at a High Performance level. 

I have gained my Personal Training certificate through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am also trained through Polestar Pilates for Mat and Reformer. I highly enjoy teaching a Barre infused Mat class and TRX.

Currently, I am teaching at two studios in Cambridge and Hamilton as well as on an online platform.

My love for health and wellbeing became a lot more apparent to me after I had a really bad injury. I learnt a lot from this experience about how it is super important to not only maintain a strong and mobile body but also to look after our mental wellbeing.

I have found movement allows my mind to feel stress free and my body to feel energised, strong and mobile.

I believe that movement shouldn't be too serious and we should be able to have fun whilst doing it. The best form of movement for someone is movement that they enjoy. 

My aim in life is to educate and help others to achieve their goals no matter where they are in their journey.

SERVICES AND PACKAGES

ONLINE COACHING - STRENGTH

This service will offer you a strength based programme for the gym.

Strength programmes will be based off goals made through our first goal setting session. 

My aim to help you achieve these goals and look forward to bigger goals. We will also work to make these goals sustainable to ensure that any progress is maintained throughout the program and even after.

WOMENS HEALTH FOCUSED PROGRAM

This service is my absolute favourite. It helps to educate the individual on where they are in their menstrual cycle and how we can use this to ensure you receive the best results.
We will start with a goal setting session and learn how to track the menstrual cycle day by day. Programmes are designed to follow the cycle of each individual. This is all evidence based research and a very kind approach to the female body.

MOBILITY/REHAB

This program offers a one on one private within a beautiful, boutique studio based in Cambridge.

This is a great option for someone if they have been given advice from a health professional but is needing a little bit of guidance with their movement.

This can also be really helpful for anyone needing any help with strength and/or mobility issues.

REFORMER PILATES FOR TEENS

There is a stigma around Pilates for being very slow and stretchy, to an extent this is true but it isn't always like that.
I have designed classes that are fun and high energy for teens. Reformers are a form of supported exercise, this can be great for teens whilst their joints, muscles and bones are still developing. This may also be a great option for teens who already participate in high intensity sports.
